Philanthropist Tom Steyer's progressive advocacy and political action group NextGen America seeks to prevent climate change by advancing the transition to a clean energy economy. I've worked with NextGen's digital agency, Blue State Digital to produce multiple highly effective social media campaigns aimed at halting the Keystone XL pipeline, and supporting political candidates committed to taking action on climate change. 
Project Highlights
• As art director, I worked closely with BSD's creative director and political scientists to produce real-time social media campaigns aimed at specific climate change-related issues and select demographics
• Campaign themes included "People in the Path", "Say NO to Keystone XL", and "We Love Our Land"
• As a result of our campaigns, we signed up more than a million voters nationwide – helping select candidates win more than 64% of the elections we had targeted
• Campaigns featured simple, powerful imagery and clear calls-to-action, making it easy for voters to understand issues, and take immediate action
